Lemonade is Callan Clendenin, Alex Pasternak and Ben Steidel, a Brooklyn-based three piece. Already heroes in their hometown, the trio are now set to wow the UK when their debut single 'Big Weekend' drops on 20th July 2009.

'Big Weekend' was recorded and mixed by Chris Coady (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, !!!, Blonde Redhead) at Stay Gold in Brooklyn and it takes the listener on a rollercoaster ride through the band's many musical influences. Grime and dubstep form the undertones but the band pull everything from drone to dancehall to acid house into the mix, and percussionist Alex's training in Arab and Latin music further broadens the music's sound palate.

Released on 12" and download, it comes backed with remixes from L-Vis 1990 (the latest recruit to Diplo's Mad Decent collective) who gives the track a trademark Hyperbass re-rub, Barcelona party starters Delorean who sprinkle it with their glorious techni-coloured electro, and Sunday Best's own resident remixer who raves it up a little for the dance floor.
