Morrissey collaborator and a stalwart of the UK rock'n'roll scene for over twenty years, one-time Polecat Boz Boorer plays his rock'n'roll straight and at full throttle.
'Miss Pearl' is one hell of an album, featuring Boorer's take on Rockabilly classics such as Jimmy Wages’ unreleased Sun label classic ‘Miss Pearl’ from whence the album title comes, to a blistering assault on Hank Mizell’s ‘Jungle Rock’ featuring backing vocals by none other than Adam Ant.
Boz Boorer has been musical director and co-writer for - and with - Morrissey from 1991 to the present day, has played on the Morrissey solo albums 'Your Arsenal', 'Southpaw Grammar', 'Maladjusted', 'Beethoven Was Deaf', 'You Are The Quarry' and 'Ringleader Of The Tormentors' and leads Morrisey's live band.
